Feature 108--SachiMizora

Sachi

I adore how well SachiMizora draws and paints her characters' hair! Doesn't Sachi's (character's) hair look so soft? ...she probably doesn't appreciate it at all, but I'm not sure I could resist asking if I could touch it.
And just look at her eyes. That silver shade is painted beautifully and it's set off perfectly with that darker 'white' of them. I find myself quite jealous of the nose, too. This piece is some amazing work as a whole!

[Among Us] It's Always Red

Poor, poor Red. Even if he's innocent, he's got that color all over him where the blood of someone else's victims is so difficult to pick out. No wonder he's always blamed. Can't say that I'd ever blame him for the tensions and accusations just getting so rough that he just snaps...
Back to the art; didn't SachiMizora just get the style so well? She didn't really miss anything--which is so easy to do with such a simple style. And, for Red, I enjoy how she got the highlight on his visor!

Opal

How in the world does SachiMizora do it to create such great hair? This makes me so jealous. And look how well it sets off those earrings! Also, don't forget to notice how well she draws the characters' lips--they look so well done without demanding all of the attention in the face!
I'm also loving how well she drew the earrings and that necklace. The long chain sets very well against Opal's breast without demanding so much attention and that green gem is perfect against her skin tone.

Definitely check out the rest of SachiMizora's gallery! It's so fun to just get stuck on one of her many character pieces just because of how artful they are; don't forget to check out her folders at the top of her gallery list!

Feature 96--LadyYomi

Digimon OC: Strawberry Dress April

I love the way this background was built up! The ocean and clouds remind me of how they're seen in many anime with an excellent job done on the clouds. That chase in the sand looks perfect--one can't have just a peaceful scene, something has to play up somewhere. But focus on April now! Imagine how long that dress had to have taken, because it had to have taken an age to be so amazing. Excellent work!

A Hero Is Born! (Cloud's Birthday 2020)

This piece was designed as a respect to when Cloud Strife was created for FF7. The detail in this piece is amazing, just look at that cloud above him and how those trousers look! Don't forget the field of flowers that he's standing in. I personally love how LadyYomi drew up the character. That figure is just super and it looks perfectly natural for him. Take a moment to look at the determination on his face, too!

Kame Warriors: Happy 20th Birthday, dA!

An original character named Cupcake wields the powerful Wacom pencil! Doesn't she looks like she's having fun with it? As a digital artist myself, I have complete respect for how LadyYomi set up the pen's strokes and painted them. How did all that paint not get all over Cupcake though? She's digital as well! Maybe that's the magic of DragonballZ?

It was an honor to feature these pieces here. But you want to look at more of LadyYomi's art after seeing these three, right? Here's the link to her gallery! Take the time to respect the awesomely designed and painted pictures there.

Feature 89--bbrfrmln-cfa

These two are based on a few images of 'burning man' that bbrfrmln-cfa liked. First, I love the kissing scene here--can't help it, I'm a 'lovers' sucker at heart. Can you blame me? Especially with it having been drawn so very well here?
That in the background has to be a tire to some huge plane so I get the idea that these two are either greeting each other after a long time having been separated or, the more sad angle, that they're having to say goodbye for our soldier to have a few years tour in battle. Beautiful piece!

Ooo...Harley, Harley, Harley, haven't you learned yet? Batman isn't going to just let you attack him!
Doesn't it just look like he's standing there, wherever she attacked him, just waiting for her to come back again? That has to be the excuse for how she's still able to try to reach for that baseball bat. And am I the only one that sees her other arm being a bit disjointed from how far she had to have flown from the retaliation? Ouch!
Absolutely love this scene!

Doesn't this one just look so much like two players from a band, leaning together as some of the more intense strings are played? That's certainly what I see from this! Have to give our artist very much credit here; those guitars look amazing. The suits the players are in, too, seem to be something like one of the many Kpop (or straight rock) bands may wear.
These two characters are bbrfrmln-cfa's characters, U and Z. This one picture makes me want to learn very much more about them!

After seeing these three pieces, you want to see more of bbrfrmln-cfa's art, right?! First, a warning: Their art is "Erotic art, medical casts, fashion, bondage and all that together.", typed by their own hand. If you are alright with pieces of that nature, here is the gallery!

Feature 60--LadyYomi

Aerith realistic painting
I love how some people can paint so realistically. And didn't LadyYomi do such a great job with these facial features--definitely that hair and the eyes? And that she was able to draw Aerith standing against that sky full of fireworks! I love this, all the time it took her was well used.
And this isn't all she does with the scenery in her pieces!

Dream #168--The White Whales
Look at the sea in this one! And how the whales swim between water and dreams! This looks like it'd be the best of peaceful dreams, don't you think? All the colors in this sure seem to be of the relaxing kind. I'd also love to swim with these whales...it's such a great thing that LadyYomi remembered this dream so that she could show us this way!

Hakuouki OC Kimi no na wa
This is a screen redraw from scratch from the movie "Kimi no na wa" ("Your Name") with LadyYomi's characters drawn in place. Honestly? I think that she drew the characters very nicely. I've never seen the movie but I can thoroughly respect how the characters seem to fit directly into the scene she redrew. Super respect for that!

I have to admit that I'm a day late on this feature. My apology; yesterday I had doctor appointments and was entirely exhausted by the time I got home. But at least I get to share some of  LadyYomi's work! Her gallery is right here on deviantArt. You should certainly take a look there and see what else she has done.
