AnnBirb's Art Stuff

 

Linework is finally finished. Anything touched up later, if at all, will be quite small so I'm posting it today as done!

And of course if I paint later it will be a burst of insanity. I'm tired of looking at it. XD

Sooooo...I mentioned insanity if I paint it, yes? Let's never forget that I never claimed sanity rules my life. XD

Wish me luck on this 'watercolor' idea, if I can make Clip Studio mimic it!

AnnBirb before Art Stuff

Ann Birb is coming out slowly! Personally love how those wings worked out...and now I have to figure out how to make the rest of her feathers behave. XD
Can't wait to see how it's working without the sketches behind it. Soon...so soon. 

This has been such a fun project, no matter how long I've been working on it. (Since sometime in May? XD)

Replaced model with a Quicksketch!

 

So. This happened early Monday...

She is clearly a bird of some kind and at least obviously a royal of some kind. (To fit her bit as "Hug Queen" in art chat.) This was a very quickly done quicksketch and I think I love how the idea has come out!

So here she is in the rest of the AnnBirb and Art Stuff save file.

I'm already having all the giggles about this so laugh all y'all like. XD But I seriously can't wait to get those wings and feathers in order, they're all going to be sooooo pretty when they're all put together! I'm also going to have to get a handful of hummingbird beaks to help get it to point the correct way.

Thoroughly enjoying how the bookcases have come out so far and had to share this!

I've always been a tad worried about just leaving the linework instead of actually painting things, too. It finally hit me how much easier everything is going to be just to leave it--and I may have said that before, but it's a constant thing with every project. Pretty sure that some of you other artists may understand the "issue"?

Tablet Update and some thoughts

The tablet's finally working again!
Mercy, that was scary--it's been years since I've drawn with the mouse and I was starting to be afraid that I'd have to relearn how to do that. @@ But no, pen pressure is back! So I can get back to the Tre picture I was fighting with so much. ^^

Something I've been toying with in my mind is featuring other people's work again.
It was actually pretty fun! And I know I can still make another folder on deviantArt to collect pieces for these. Will be asking the artists for permission, of course. It's a little maddening to lose track of where your work is being shown!

It'll be something I'll be thinking on for a time. Can't decide as of now. (Of course!)
