Replaced model with a Quicksketch!

 

So. This happened early Monday...

She is clearly a bird of some kind and at least obviously a royal of some kind. (To fit her bit as "Hug Queen" in art chat.) This was a very quickly done quicksketch and I think I love how the idea has come out!

So here she is in the rest of the AnnBirb and Art Stuff save file.

I'm already having all the giggles about this so laugh all y'all like. XD But I seriously can't wait to get those wings and feathers in order, they're all going to be sooooo pretty when they're all put together! I'm also going to have to get a handful of hummingbird beaks to help get it to point the correct way.

Thoroughly enjoying how the bookcases have come out so far and had to share this!

I've always been a tad worried about just leaving the linework instead of actually painting things, too. It finally hit me how much easier everything is going to be just to leave it--and I may have said that before, but it's a constant thing with every project. Pretty sure that some of you other artists may understand the "issue"?

Riac's flats are in!

 

Altera Power Demonstration

Love how Riac turned out with his flats! Soon as Zen starts to cooperate with me, I can also begin starting with their magics (where 90% of the light source should be, if it all works out).
There's a whole idea of Riac's fire being the main source with the other two's powers catching said light...it works in my mind. Let's hope that I can eventually make it actually happen. XD

Whatever happens with their powers, I really do like how Zen is starting to come out. That yellow was unexpected but...what else do we expect from an entertainer sort? I can't wait to start playing with his hair--with any luck the blond-ish shade won't contrast with his yellow too much.
It shouldn't anyway with the streaks of green that I'm going to give it but, y'know how it is to over think.

So many plans with this! Let's hope it works out. ^^

Altera's Power Demonstration

 

I think the boys are going to lean into their colors perfectly, considering how Trezari is coming out. And here I was this morning, wondering if the lines and colors were even going to work. Yes, of course they will!

Honestly can't wait til the all their clothes are flatted in so that I can start playing with their magics. I have some great references to look at (thanks to many anime shows) so it'll be really fun. And Riac has a great light source whenever I put it in. So that will be so fun to have shine on everyone!

So much to look forward to!
