Sims 4: Horse Ranch barn-house

Was having some great fun taking inspiration from LilSimsie's build on youtube and here is what I've ended up with so far. Pretty darn happy with it, to be honest, once I figured out how to get the roofing to behave for me. XD Just have to remember the animal shed and a couple chicken coops in this huge lot soon.

And of course there's a nectar making spot on the left, in that little shed. I hope Tre and Lorrie will be making plenty of it soon! (At least once I learn how. XD)

The colt pictured in the previous image seems quite happy with this space, surprisingly. I guess it's not that different from an actual stable space with this sims build? Love that it's also so thrilled with how the character is taking care of it, too. <3

Here's the first floor! Bathroom, kitchen, and main room shown here. And of course we can see the colt again--he's clearly having plenty of fun running around the whole lot and playing with that ball in the first image. Gosh I hope he'll learn the other skills needed for this part of the game. XD

And finally, the upstairs! Bedroom for the vampire and his wife. She'll be shown soon when I'm ready to share the both of them--may they both be able to properly work for this ranch. Gardening and animals all around? Goodness knows I've been addicted to the whole thing since buying it; so both of them *better* be happy with it too. XD

Sims 4: Island Living build

Mentioned lilsimsie again since I was watching one of her Sims videos before I bought things and started messing around. And...welp. My inspiration doesn't just stick with the several sims packs that I already have, nope, had to buy Island Living since the game went on sale.
Here's the lot that I chose to start on!

This spot is pretty cute, isn't it! When my two breeding sims--er, freshly dating sims!--Vae and Nayru get ready to have kids, this'll be a great space for them to all be in the water and maybe the parents can slip off to a bar when said kids are old enough?

Here's the shell of the place. I'm pretty sure I took off that wider space on the pathway, made it 2x2 instead of what it is here. Pretty pleased with the idea so far though, so it's time to get to work! First two spaces that I built is the parents' room and the bathroom attached to there.

Love that bed that Island Living gave us. (I think it's Island Living. Could be Mt Komorebi, I used both of those packs to decorate this place.) Can I just take a moment and mention the light that I used here? It's called the Cascade Pendant Light trio and I just had to use it in more places just than the one!

It throws just the right kind of light that just works in the island living set and love love how well it made the rest of the house work. 

Haven't had time to get the parents married and busy yet but this is another bathroom and three kids' rooms. The oldest (top room) will probably have some kind of gaming that he likes while the one just below him will go into science. The one who is going to be in the rightmost room will no doubt love his noise and music he chooses to make (If Sims4 lets their stories go out properly! XD We all know what Sims is good at, though...)
To be honest, this section was the most fun in the whole house so far!

The last two rooms, provided I won't make more in the meanwhile, is a kitchen and a living area where some of these five will be. ...I hope Sims 4 doesn't believe in drowning people in this ocean area, at least without some manipulation...
Goodness knows that I am really wishing and hoping there. XD Sims is the game to steal things completely out of the player's hands and make it all the more mad, right?

More pictures will come if there's anything more different on my game than I expect.

Sims 4--Building in Del Sol Valley

I watched one of Lilsimsie's videos to get an idea how she builds her places. ...this time, it went better than last time I tried this. XD

Shell to begin

Started with a 7x10 tile space, beginning with her "Art of a Fancy Box". Should have gotten a look at how the back was but...it wasn't anything special yet.

I still didn't think to get a screenshot of the back of the house but, from this angle, at least you can see the chimney. Have to agree with her about how hard it is to build a chimney--this one had to have taken me almost an hour just to get right. (Where bits and pieces weren't poking at odd angles?) But with this success, the rest of the house ought to work out right.
...right?

Floor 1

I should have paid attention to the video. I could have left most of the rooms with walls coming from them...whoops! (What the floorplan is meant to be, right? XD) But I have to say that I'm in love with the kitchen area. I like it so very much more than some things I've been building.
Isn't it nicer, too, that I didn't choke the floor with a million windows like I do?

Floor 2

Bedroom and sitting area, with yet another nice bathroom. Need to build more of them as 3x3 instead of squishing so much down! (...Congratulate me, by the way? I didn't build this in Tiny Living. This is actual sized house. Maybe a little big by comparison but at least no cheated bathroom spaces! XD)

Brick House

And of course, what is one of my builds if I'm not falling all for the Vampire or Country Living bricks, right? I think it works perfectly for how this particular lot is lit.
After two or more hours, this is the last photo I've made on this one. Later on, I'll bring you back to get the yard set up in a decent way. (Isn't it just great how well this game does at burning time? XD) Y'all take care and see y'all later!

Sims 4, Tiny Living build

Inspiration here

This will be my build based on lilsimsie's 2-story Tiny Living build.  So let's get started!

bb.moveobjects on to the rescue!

This little 1x3 bathroom works out because there's a tiny wall-shower, like what you may see in a college bathroom. Since the sims can step through the shower instead of having to go around it, it's a perfect sized bathroom/wet room for these tiny living builds!
bb.moveobjects on is a well known cheat code to be able to make things go to a specific location...say making the bathroom door and shower share a tile instead of forcing me to work all around it. Really a great cheat for tiny houses in general!

Right here is showing where I placed a couple of tiny flowers on the corners of that outdoor walkspace. I'm quite happy with that 'genius' idea, myself and why should the sim care if they're probably never going to be interested in checking that out?
Will probably throw something else on that space but I don't know what yet. Also, you can see the general theme of how the outside area is going to look by the time I'm finished.

The Sims that live here are probably going to hate it but I have always liked the idea of a floor that mostly has windows all around. This is also upstairs. Surely there shouldn't be too many characters that can just stare inside, right?

Here is the finished upstairs. A Murphy bed with a seating area in that space above the kitchen (non killer bed because of a CC thing I picked up) with a television in front. Behind the TV and bookshelf is an easel and three bookshelves with a drawer underneath to place stones and whatnot, then at the bottom is a computer and ladder to get downstairs.
I swear that sims better not be using that bathroom more than the one I put downstairs. XD

This is the main area of the house with the front door just to the left of the bookshelf. Then a homework/eating area in front of the kitchen, right beside a room with a toilet. To the left of the ladder that goes upstairs is a couch and television area! I'm currently considering putting a wall-stereo just beside the couch, but we'll see.
At the moment, this house also gets the rank of "cheapest build I have ever created". Haven't decorated the yard or anything yet but it really shouldn't get too much more expensive!

By the last image, the price really hasn't gone up too much. This is still very comfortably one of the cheapest locations I've ever built. XD That isn't exactly what lilsimsie was pointing out with /her/ build but for me, it's one of the best things ever!
