So so many visits... (Sims 4)

So it started in the early morning. Tre, the vampire who lives off the grid on a small farm, was awake and taking care of his garden and animals when this showed up. Well crap, his source of money is getting knocked down, is it? Ugh...

One of the eight chickens in the coop right there was passing away, poor gal. And Grim was having nothing to do with Tre trying to chat with him at the moment. Pretty darn rude, don't you think!

(So things went on as they do but this time, Grim just did the cutest thing I've ever seen this game's version of death do. Scritches to the hen he's taking to the other side! Had to share it. It's always so fun how this character will often do something sweet with an animal that is passing.)

Meanwhile, because he lost a chicken, Tre apparently went kinda hysterical to the point that he absolutely had to do push ups for his broken heart and mind. And during this agony that he's living through, a rabbit friend had been taken to the other side. No headstone or anything either, mercy.

But this wasn't the end of this horrible day for this poor sim. Nope. Not at all! Just as Tre got the nerve to step back out and feed the rest of his chickens...

There the stealer is again, no cares to what Tre is trying to do at all. Sheez it's so rude. This is the majority of Tre's money during the winter months, WHY does Grim keep turning up! And right after taking this chicken, he comes back for yet ANOTHER!

...Dude!

And yeah. It's about here that my friend pops up with his so Helpful ways during this terribly trying time.
Friend: "I fucking burst reading the 'Dude. XD' message again. so indignant. so offended." And then merely seconds later, "XD you found a way to do the "Riches to Rags" challenge. just have Death slowly steal your income one by one"
As if  the Grim Reaper wasn't being bad enough right now, right? And THEN, as if all of this hadn't happened so very quickly, the camera pans over to a place nearby Tre's property...a fox collapses, taking it's final breath...

Poor little baby!

So Grim stole four of Tre's chickens and he had to take a fox along with all these poor things. How terrible to have to witness this whole story. And then there was this ONE MAN who stood somewhere just outside Tre's property, just waiting. Watching.

Delayed post, but a picture update!

Apologies for skipping two Fridays! Both ears got infected at the same time and I really wasn't up to drawing or playing around with anything since I was busy coughing my throat raw and not hearing things. Been to the doctor and got shots and some antibiotics. I'm not finished with them but I'm just so happy that I can hear again.
All I have to do now is recover my stamina (because the MS has to be jealous when I'm sick with anything else) and get rid of the rest of this mess.

And and and, I learned today that the choir decided to wait on the Christmas musical so they could get some more practice--I've been doing terrible about that this time around. So that's great. I've been able to listen to the disc so now that my voice has mostly returned, I can get a little practice in before we perform.

Art wise, I felt up to toying a tad with the Tre image yesterday. I messed with the line thickness and what the lines were drawn with, did a little editing that was needed earlier, and painted the jeans on the forward facing version. If everything keeps coming like this did, Tre ought to be finished soon.

Someone in the chat I'm in has mentioned that I'm very low on the "color temperature" scale and linked to this, from TsaoShin. When I've recovered from my hand cramp, I'll work some more. But it's still pretty nice to have this right now.

Rework will come soonish but I'm just so happy with how it is right now!

Sorry folks, no new artwork yet.

Nothing new to show off, my apologies. I've been hit with a nasty run of fatigue and I can't think to do anything! It's so frustrating. ><
This said, my doctor set me up with physical therapy. This is going to be my third week of six--gosh it's exhausting! But, the more I work on the exercises is the more that my unsteady balance is coming back to order.

I look forward to finishing this. Hopefully my strength and thinking will come back to me.

All this said, next post I plan to show a little more to do with that Tre Arlet image that I was doing before my current project. And I've recently downloaded OBS studio so...when I get finished doing lineart on either Tre or Find the Way, I'll record a timelapse!
I'll be sure to link here whenever it happens!

Plus it'll be fun to learn how to manage OBS studio. ^^

Yay! Finally got the forward sketch in order!
I'm looking forward to getting the second view sketched in, it shouldn't be as difficult as it was the original!

...Then, as we already know about me, I'm going to redraw over the both of them several times before they're painted. So please pretend to be excited. XD

I have been dying to get finished with this because I've been stuck for so long. XD Got finished with his top though, so all I need now is his jeans and boots (as well as a few more lines to make him wear his gloves).
Have got to get more clothing references, the front of his shirt looks so flat. BUT I love how his sleeves came out!

The sooner I'm done with the lines is the sooner I get to color and finish this. Can't wait.

Also, Clip Studio Paint is a great program. @@ Should have known how to change layers back and forth from raster to vector. Silly me only found how today... Yes, I've already squealed about this on a too short deviantart journal post, but if I hadn't found this, I'd have probably needed to just trace my lines instead of fixing them!

--and I'm completely late on my so called "weekly" posts! Do not know if I mentioned what I'm doing before, but I'm working on a 'character sheet' of sorts for one of my characters.

As you can see, I've not gotten too far. I've been planning and studying how to draw faces and whatnot--in the upper left, I want to draw a few expressions and the bottom right will have something. (Currently, I'm hovering between another weapon of his and maybe other small things he carries or has on him.)
