A Mysterious Disturbance

First off, I have to say that I really enjoy how the computer-like bits seem to fly off the screen. StaticBlu has done something really nice to get them to be like that!
And it's fun how the villain (I assume she is) has Tails, Amy, and Knuckles behind Sonic, seeming so ready to blink out of this existence. Is that something on that level or is it just the threat she's giving them all? Because we all know that a sage is as good of a villain to *anyone* who hasn't quite learned the area...and who knows it better than something like a computer?

Pokemon Snow Expedition

I need to get back into the pokemon games...because if this kind of area is hinted toward or even shown in it? Has to be quite the pretty scene! And so is this. StaticBlu seems to have known exactly what to make for this...and those starters that he drew seems perfect!
I always love the fire starters so of course I'm drawn to that Cyndaquil. But I wonder what the bird type becomes by the end of its line? And Oshawott has to be fun to learn too!

Left in the Dark

Loving the mastery of color and light here, our eyes are lead all around the scene perfectly. And I personally really enjoy the bright colors on Samus herself! Doesn't this section she's in just fit the Metroid games in general?
Also, it's so much fun to let my eyes just follow the shapes in the shadows. Everything seems to come through very clearly--extra points on StaticBlu's end, I think! Super work!

Feature 188--AltairSky

 

The Journey

First, I have got to squeal about how lovely the water looks here; especially with that little splash going over the whale's back. And then to squeal all about how well AltairSky designed the whale!
This makes me wonder how large these bots are...would have to read the comic to find that out, I imagine. Certainly worth the time! Especially if they live in such a pretty world as this background shows.

Metamorphosis

The background is as gorgeous as before, it's great! And the plant she's holding up isn't a holly; but the feeder plant of the hawkmoth caterpillars. (The type is written in the artist comments.)
This location is such a pretty one. The fog fits perfectly, I think; and it appears to be some kind of forest? Whatever it is, that grass looks perfect. Pretty tall too, so it's gotta be somewhere without a lot of grounds keeping--that just works best in my mind. Beautiful piece!

Huggles

The best kind of cuddles for a chilly day! Love how the ice is coming down from the tree branch and those stones in the background. This scene also helps give an idea of the medabots' height, like I was wondering from before.
AltairSky has done it again with the gorgeous backgrounds. She's so very good with her work!
