Done with Jadewind scene~

Windmill in working order; couple clouds in the sky, a few paths that people have caused from walking between the roads, couple of farms...this piece is properly complete! <3

The mountains worked in Jadewind!

Totally loving these mountains, they worked out great! Thank goodness to the photos on pinterest, right? (Maybe too that it was fun to get distracted several times and look around all over the site too. XD)
Now I just need to adjust the ground and add in more of the town! ^^

And with help from an art chat I'm part of (Backseat Drawing on discord) and a friend, here is how both mountains came out. It's perfect! ...would have been much easier if I hadn't merged things so quickly. But yay, it worked anyway!

Jadewind and Telei wip

Eee! Loving how this sky worked out! Didn't use the blending tool at all and this just looks great.
I'm just terrified of making up Jadewind and make that work out...We'll see what happens.
And some clouds *have* to be put in the sky too, they'd look so nice!

Jadewind and Telei wip

It has decided to be very...blue. And oh gosh how much fun it was to do this! Will be correcting those piles of cotton in the sky but they seem to have worked out for a good start.

Art mind is back and throwing thumbnails!

This was a fun little thing to play with. It's going to help make a very nice painting by the time I'm finished! Now to start painting for details and all of that.

Battle's End

I've been rather sick this past few months and have been messing with Sims 4 to continue a weekly post. But yesterday, I felt like playing a bit more with my painting project. Attempted a bit of texture with it on the stones (may need to lower the opacity on those layers) and have thrown some arm and leg plans around to be covered up by what uniform the...'willing amputees', let's call them...had been wearing.

Painted! I don't know if it's actually done or not but I'm tired of staring at it. XD Time to start a new picture!

Battle's End update

Lovely! Was having an awful day where nothing was keeping my attention, but this bit of shadow detail in the background? This FINALLY made everything work out!
Did a little detail on the rocks in the lower right, too. Currently enjoying how that much has come out, too.

The other characters SHOULD start coming through now that I have some shadow actually working. @@ Wish me luck. XD And...hm. So much for the predicted 'one week' from before, right? ^^;

(Edit Dec 11, 2021: There's been a bit of a breakdown on my end and I've lost that white fire for my site's background. Please tolerate this black on black site for a short time.
Thank you so much for your patience!)

Battle's End update

Oh my gosh, now I don't have to do more than some bare grayscale after I get behind the middleground healer and injured. It's awful and I'm going to keep enjoying how much I drive myself mad with this. The shadows in the scene are going to be lovely when I finally get my butt after drawing them. SOON though. This whole thing is going to be all finished and pretty at some month!

...I promise all of that natter will make plenty more sense when I finally get done with it all. ^^;

Battle's End update--That's...a little backwards.

Watch out! D= A dead pair of Jeans!

Agh, as fun as my little playing is, I didn't even put down any of my light sources yet. Why didn't I at least wait til I'd thrown the light in! XD

That's another thing to love about Layers though, isn't it? Can actually throw some lights in (and I have an idea what to do for that, thanks to my friend on Discord since I have healers working in the scene). So the lights from the healers and a couple of lanterns with the more alive three in the back? That will entirely light the scene for me.

Thank goodness it's going to be good!

Battle's End update

Valeon is mostly painted. Gosh he looks so bright too...
But I've got a small idea when everyone else/the whole location is painted. Since it's so far from happening yet, I don't think I'll share that idea right this moment.

I am also still well trapped in Sims 4. I was so happy that it was 'freeing' me earlier but...that was a lie. It was such a lie even to me! No screenshot to share right now but I felt that y'all deserve to know what's going on/why I'm slower than normal in painting.

Battle's End update

This picture is still calling for me to add something. Must do exactly what it wants from me, right?
GAH, I'm not even to actually lining the piece yet and this one wants so much more before I can settle down!

Isn't that what makes a picture so much fun to work with though! I think I wouldn't be so addicted otherwise.

Also! I have started playing with Twitch, lately. If you'd like to know when I go live next, please follow this page! (Haven't figured out an actual schedule, as fun as it is to stream. Maybe in a bit!)

Battle's End character plan & general chat

Two more characters to place and the scene will be planned out.
It's been so fun to play with so far, too! Still can't wait to get Valeon in the scene so I can finally do a linework of the characters; getting them dressed and set up is going to be great. And then! I will FINALLY get to paint this whole thing properly!

Have to admit that I've been a little slow on this (obviously) and I apologize. I've just been so exhausted. Finally went by the doctor two days ago and I've been fighting some infection. ...I could have told someone that, what and the slime I've been coughing up...
Either way, I'm 2 days in on my antibiotics and can definitely tell a difference. So everything is turning better!

Thumbnails are actually pretty fun!

Did you know that when you are gesturing with a cookie, your friend will try to take the cookie from you? That was a lot of fun to waste a square on and it didn't delay the rest of my scene setting at all. ...probably was a very obvious thing but I don't do thumbnails too often. (Am going to have to start with them from here out!)

Had to show this piece of thing off since I learned the smartness of it all. Back to your regular schedules! XD
