Vae's War Room wip

The base of the wall is now gray, which will appear to be stone like the rest of the wall when I finally get to finishing it. Got a tip about my shadows and brought them to be darker and it worked out great.

Oh gosh, I have to get back to shading the rocks on the far wall. It's going to take forever and will work so lovely when I finally do it. But that's part of the fun of drawing and painting: finding everything that can be worked on instead of what absolutely needs to be done to put it off as long as possible.

Vae's War Room wip

Now all that's left is the shadows, whenever I escape Sims again to do it. XD Thrilled with how the details have worked out, especially that stone wall! (...had so much trouble til I remembered that Clip Studio has brushes for this kinda thing...)

It was quite fun, too, to figure out how the floor should work out around that tree stump as if Vae had built around it. Now I wonder what his story was behind keeping it! It'll be fun when it's figured out.

Vae's War Room wip

So proud of how that screen worked out but I wonder if the letters are too straight forward? So happy with how the rest of it looks now! <3 Just have that floor and those walls to work with before they can be shaded.

It's taken almost an age to draw this up but I've been having so much fun. <3 Next time y'all see it, the walls should have the right texture!

Well oops. Meant to post this on Thursday. Y'all can take this for a 'Thursday' post if I don't spam with more sims, right? XD

Vae's War Room--Flat colors!

I have a hard time being unhappy with these flats! As of now, I've been toying with adding the shadows but there's one space my tutor wants to work on...Something about there still being room to put something? BUT I'm thrilled with the whole thing so far.

Hope y'all are going to have a pleasant time next week!

Recent Norux picture and Corel Painter review!

This is what I've finished last week--I'm half sure I posted this one on last week's post. XD I just wanted to toss out the references I used for the pose and hair in this.

Pose: https://www.gettyimages.com/detail/photo/sporty-mature-man-climbing-wall-in-gym-royalty-free-image/987687146

Hair:  https://www.deviantart.com/users/outgoing?https://tomandlorenzo.com/2016/08/jason-momoa-takes-part-in-a-climbing-contest-in-barcelona/jason-momoa-aquaman-climbing-contest-barcelona-tom-lorenzo-site-7/

When I find a suitable set of heads for Norux's pictures, I'll get to showing the expressions like I've probably mentioned before. XD Hopefully it will behave!

And then another thing has come into my life! I've been playing with Corel Painter, since it was gifted to me the other day! So far, I've really been enjoying it, especially how the paint brushes will behave like they would in the traditional means.

Here is a video review of the version I was given.

I would have to recommend this program if you have a chance!
