Waver is finished!

I just posted the finished image to the art page!

Could just see her being ready to poke anyone with that nail she's holding, she "rightfully" claimed the coin she's standing on! It wasn't her fault someone had set their money right there.
Alas, she is never going to be able to keep it, coin's too heavy for her. XD

The person who commissioned this was great to work with, he knew exactly what he wanted and yet he was able to give me enough freedom to be silly. Figuring out how to do everything for the picture was a lot of fun, as well.
He also understood about how long it took me to finally turn this around. Counting my lucky stars for that!

This is turning out! So very slowly...

Slowly and piece by piece. ...it would drive me crazy if my commissioner hadn't told me to take as much time as I need for it. And have I ever this time! This is nearly the first time I've done anything so close to an oceanline. XD

Love how it's coming so far, though! And the commissioner approves!

Now the only thing I have to do is paint everything up and I'll be finished here. So very excited. ^_^

Whoo, lineart!

Posted it to the Art page a day or so ago, but I refined the linework a bit. This really is a fun little piece! Waver is standing on the coin that fell--or was ripped out of--the pouch in front of her! This little water-element fairy is a lovely little firebrand. A perfect T.T, according to the one who commissioned me! XD

Waver

A couple days late on posting but thrilled how this sketch has come out. Got a commission from a friend that shows his fairy character standing on a dropped coin and claiming it. 

The money pouch in front is meant to have a tear but I'm absolutely thrilled with how this is coming out so far. 

All I need now is to draw her wings and the mentioned rip, then can get to painting!
