Feature 54--Piahrt

Touma vs Oni
This piece was created with watercolor and acrylic paints. I can't imagine the patience it took to work with those mediums to mix both of them together. The hero of this piece definitely stands out with their bow and armor...They won't stand out very well in the darkness, I bet, once the portal closes. Or maybe, if especially lucky, the Onis won't immediately know about them until the first attack goes off!
Alcor e Hilda
According to Piahrt, this piece was inspired by Frank Frazetta's artwork. I can definitely see the idea and think it's a super one to try with. Isn't this background gorgeous? Love the darkness of the ground against the blackness of the sky, and that one lone cloud makes the sky super interesting by itself.
Awesome work!

Pegasus vs Leo
This piece attracts my attention entirely because of how Piahrt handled the light source here. I can just see this coming through the trees and leaves! The character on the right, mostly hidden in the shadow, makes me the most interested in this scene. Is he a troublemaker trying to cause chaos? Is he maybe approaching the other four and just hasn't made it yet? So many options!
The character with the cloak is also interesting. Are they warning the fellow on the right? And look at how they're trying to get so much light on them! (I assume it's purposeful anywho.)
In all, this is a very fun piece to just make stories for. Thanks so much, Piahrt, for showing this one to me!

If you guys are as impressed with these pieces as I am, then you're surely going to love going to Piahrt's gallery! It's certainly worth your time; enjoy yourself there. ^^
