Revisiting the Four

All Four Horsemen

At this link, you will probably notice that these four aren't properly shaded, as I'd previously assumed. These are actually the flats. I'm sorry about that, was too excited to have them "finished". What's wrong with me? XD 

Here are the more shaded versions. And where I'm going to stop with them before I ruin everything.

Oh my gosh, that's all four of them. THEY ARE ALL FINISHED. That took far too long, it shouldn't have, but this DID it.

Still no shading, but someone told me how to fix his busted up shoulder. So that is good. I'm excited to finally get him colored in. If I get my way, it'll color in similar to how Vae's did!

So.

Like a totally mature digital artist who has absolutely everything together in my mind (and speaking with no sarcasm whatsoever), I've decided that I'm going to cry if I save over my recent four linearts. 

The answer to this dire problem is terribly simple, of course. But everyone's allowed to be ridiculously possessive --a little bit choosy over things here and again, right? 

All four boys are slowly going to have their flats put in, probably the same order that I posted the first time.  The image at the link will be edited until he's fully colored in and this one will most likely be deleted for a future post.

There are far too many posts in these pages to be able to link the ones I like. Because this is pinterest. I can and do get lost on these kind of websites. And sometimes there is never an escape.

2. Oldest Brother of 4
Maj has finally gotten himself somewhat drawn. Still need to dress him and figure out how I messed up his shoulder this time, but I find myself pretty happy with his expression and how the rest of him came out so far.

Ugh. Fourth character

Maj, the oldest in the bunch I've already drawn and posted, is being so fussy! I'm sure he'll eventually behave (that's a benefit to knowing he's oldest!) let me draw, once he's pleased with the pose.
As of now, he seems pretty happy with the doll I've posed that has its hand to his forehead as if saying, "And I have to be related to them!"

...maybe he'll let me pose him a little better before I have to start drawing. The doll I'm working with right now is pretty funny.

Plus, Clip Studio's ability to show a lightsource on the dolls is quite nice, hopefully I'll color things right. Shading has also been woefully missing for quite a long time and I have little idea when it fell. I don't think it has to do with my taking up a study, so it's gotta be something I've been overlooking lately.
...kinda shameful, seeing how I used to be somewhat decent with painting shadows and making a character stand out. ^^;

So my work is set out. I love the difficult stuff! XD

His lines are thicker than the ones I drew for Vae...probably where I duplicated and merged a layer. Otherwise, this is Len! He's the youngest of four so of course he's pouting this moment in time. 

V'aeonn

He has hair! It's amazing, it's all hair! And his clothing that I'd had trouble with previously. I'm thinking that maybe his eyes could be a tad bigger but I'm afraid to touch them. XD And he'll have some color once I draw up his brothers--it'll be easier to go back and forth when they only need painted.

All and all, I'm proud of how this guy turned out. ^^ I've never been able to use references like I learned with this. (So I'm thinking his brothers should turn out as good or better than Vae has, at risk of extreme character jealousy.)
