My tutor is teaching me a simpler way to shade. Goodness knows I need to work on her face more but here's what I have at the moment:
It's a monochromatic from the face down (did I already complain about how the face is bothering me? XD) and we'll be working more on the monochrome when I do better in learning the basic forms for a body.
Right now I'm working off this for the shadow. It's not
perfect but it's something:
And you can easily see what kind of mess I made above. XD But the best thing about layers is that they can easily be undone or deleted. Later, I'll post the full monochrome when I can agree with what I've done to the face.
That said, I hope everyone who celebrates it was able to enjoy their 4th of July holiday!
