Blender oddity?

Blender's doing something a little odd and I can't find an answer to it. I can't edit anything to be any longer than a tiny section, even if the recording is around 45 minutes long.

It loops between these two spaces, no matter how long the video is supposed to be. I've not had a chance to edit anything because it catches nothing more than what is pointed out.
It seems that I'm either forgetting a section to do or it's trying to say that the video isn't longer than this.

OBS is behaving pretty well, at least! XD

  1. (Not on my desktop, so I'll have to describe everything without visual aid--out of town for a couple of weeks.)

The problem is that your workspace defaults to (I think) 250 frames long. Down at the bottom of the window, there's a box that allows you to edit the length of the wrokspace. If you still have the tutorial video I posted, go look at about 5:30, and you should see how to fix it.

If you look closely, there's a difference in the background between the workspace within the time limit (alternating light gray/dark grey stripes) and without (darker alternating stripes).

Sorry I didn't notice this problem sooner, hope there's enough detail to help you get it sorted, and if not, I should be back in town by Tuesday. (And you can always contact me via other platforms if you need more help.)
