[Update May 4]
Playing around brought this. I'm...probably not going to keep this exact thing but it's an idea that I'm pretty interested with. Have to finish painting the characters and decide how I want the hills to work out, but this looks more like a sunset than what I'd kept before!
It'll come out eventually!
Edit: The sunrise/sunset situation is actually fixed! Yaaay. Now to get the rest of the image, sometime.
