Battle's Sunset

Those who had survived that last battle were rightly exhausted. How couldn't they be? They had just fought one of the biggest clans of those scaled creatures they had ever seen challenge the nearby town! Medics rushed to the injured as the uninjured took an inventory of what they had left in the way of arrows and other weapons.


Watching around while assisting the injured to the closest medic, the captain suddenly pointed out past the hill, "All who are able, ready yourselves! There's more!"


Only after a very brief silence, scowling as he turns toward the captain, the Oracle of Shadows' voice is low and ever faintly threatening,
"What do you mean, exactly, by 'there are more'?!"
